1932' Ford Roadster Model B

Show standard 1932 Ford Model B Roadster “Highboy”
Superb old school 32 roadster with all that you would want and none of what you don’t .This show standard iconic hotrod has been built to show and drive .Its fast ,loud and looks stunning. Fully U.K registered as a vintage Ford with all the advantages that that brings. The car has very good recent history with being regularly motd etc.Speedo now reads 2500 miles being mileage covered since build.
Car is ready to go and starts and runs spot on. There is no work needed apart from as with any Rod, should you wish to put your stamp on it the list of things that can be done is as long as your imagination .But for me its just right as is .
The underneath and chassis and running gear is all immaculate and detailed. The drive train includes a Ford 8 inch LSD with 3,5 gears. Transmission is a bullet proof 4 speed Turbo 700r4 so much better than the normal 3 speed 350. The gearbox was built with uprated clutches and a Derale oil pan and cooler and temp gauge. Front and rear transverse springs with So Cal chrome shock absorbers. Full O Brian brake kit with Buick style finned aluminum revolving covers housing a full Willwood discbrake kit and caliper set up. The polished dual master cylinder and servo are under floor chassis mounted so as to keep super neat.
The engine is an early 327 Chevy and performs very well. Having had a full rebuild with some very nice parts internally and externally :
Keith Black Flat top pistons
Competition cam and drivetrain
Aluminium Edlebrock Cylinder heads
Lake polished headers
Petronix electronic ignition with 8mm leads.
Offenhauser triple manifold with new triple chrome progressive Strombergs.,with finned Aluminium air cleaners and polished Aluminium linkage and fuel pressure gauge This look is so period and really suits this 32 B
Hi torque chrome starter with boot mounted Red top battery.
Body is a quality Rodline fiberglass body with steel bonnet which clips on and off in seconds depending on the look you want. The 32 B grille and surround are also steel and house a new Walker radiator with temp and switch controlled electric fan.
Period Lamps all round with LED lights and LED hidden number plate lighting etc. The Cream hood is a Sid Cheavers bolt on which can be on and off in minutes and can be collapsed down to go in the boot.
Fold out Safari windscreen.
The interior is all as new with Black leather trim to the bench seat and door panels etc. Full set of Stuart Warner gauges including the speedo which has a GPS conversion. Complete new wiring harness, Loaker shifter and handbrake.
Wheels are 16 inch period smoothies with Firestone wide whitewall tyres.
As you may be able to tell corners have not been cut and the Hotrod is registered and ready to go. Offered at a fraction of the cost to build and without all the hassle of a new build nowadays.
