We have nearly completed rebuilding this original RHD UK Supplied Matching Numbers E Type Jaguar.
It’s original colour combination was Opalescent Gunmetal Grey with a Old English Red interior which is as stated on the Jaguar Heritage Archive Certificate, however we have not re-trimmed the interior as yet and will leave this decision to its next owners choice.
Works completed to date includes the re-fabrication of it’s original bodyshell, new engine frames, picture frame and bonnet hanger.
Our re-assembly overview includes laying a complete new wiring loom, all suspension components have been powder coated and the suspension has been completely rebuilt, new petrol tank and fuel lines, all new braking components, all the Smith dials have been refurbished or replaced, all the chrome and bright work has been re-chromed or replaced, the engine, gear box and the rear differential has been rebuilt including the rear axle carrier.
The upgrades include a 5 Speed Gear Box with its original 4 speed gear box is also available, Fosseway Brake upgrade, uprated cooling system, suspension and chrome wire wheels.
