Up for sale is a technically and visually flawless Mercedes-Benz W 111 Cabriolet from 1970 in the factory color dark green 854 and cream-colored leather interior including a same-colored hood/cover. This timeless classic already has an Austrian historical registration and was extensively restored with great attention to detail some time ago. With an estimated condition rating of 2+ (according to Classic Data), this convertible is immediately ready for use for great occasions or stylish trips.History & RarityConnoisseurs know: The W111 series as a convertible is rare, but the 280 SE with the legendary M130 in-line six-cylinder is in a class of its own. While over 4,500 units of the later 3.5l V8 model were produced, only 1,390 units of the 280 SE Cabriolet left the factory. What is particularly noteworthy is that this is a high-cooler version. This original, raised front end was replaced by the flatter, wider "flat radiator" shortly after this car was produced.
