Jaguar E-Type is a legend car, an icon of style and elegance of the 1960s. The designer of this outstanding bodywork was Malcolm Sayer. It is characterized by a light and streamlined shape with a mask that stretches almost to the horizon. Enzo Ferrari himself called the E-Type "the most beautiful car in history." The second series of the Jaguar E-Type was introduced in 1968, although the first changes, such as the lack of lamp covers, were introduced a year earlier. The modernization also included the rear bumper, a larger air intake, a change in the location of the front turn signals and a restyling of the dashboard. Then a larger, 4.2-liter engine with higher torque appeared, as well as a new, fully synchronized manual transmission.
The presented copy came to Poland in 2018 from the United States and then underwent a complete renovation, starting from the complete disassembly of the original car (which was kept in very good condition - photo documentation), going through the entire process of bodywork and painting, reconstruction, replacement and regeneration of interior elements and, of course, complete overhaul of the engine, transmission and suspension. The end result is absolutely satisfying even for the most demanding customers, and multiple test drives allowed us to point out and eliminate any shortcomings.
Currently, the E-type does not require even the slightest investment, drives great, is registered and has a complete set of documents - starting with hundreds of photos, a Jaguar certificate (Jaguar Heritage Trust), an original ID card from the USA and an expert's opinion on the scope of work performed on the car.
