Seller's comments about 1971' Jaguar E-Type
This correct, excellent driving Jaguar E-Type Series II 4. 2 FHC was manufactured on the 20th of May 1970 and left the factory finished in Cream with Red leather. The original distributor was Parkers of Bolton, and the car was supplied new by Henlys in Oldham to a local lady. This genuine UK car supplied car is still today in its original colours and specification and to further enhance the car, since last selling it in 2021 in the region of £70, 000 has been spent with E-Type UK. Home market, correct and original E-Types are in high demand and high quality, usable examples like this are becoming increasingly difficult to buy. This particular car is the 905th Series II Coupe off the production line and is therefore one of the later surviving Series II Coupes. To further enhance the car, we can confirm it does have matching numbers and is totally correct throughout.This car presents beautifully throughout with a strong feel of originality inside the car. ABU 898J has beautiful Cream paintwork retaining a high-quality finish, it offers superb panel fit and lovely straight panels. The body is exceptional having been subject to recent major works, as is the underside of the vehicle. The engine bay presents well with a nicely detailed engine, space frame and ancillaries.
