I am selling a 1942 Jeep Willys MB. The Jeep is registered in Poland and has historic license plates. Willys was bought in Ukraine several years ago and renovated there. I have had the car for almost a year. The car has the original frame, body, entire drive, engine and gearbox (small head). Willys is in good body condition. It has original bridges and frame. The entire body was rebuilt and there is no visible corrosion. The whole thing has also been repainted. In terms of bodywork, the complete set requires the backrest of the rear bench and painting of the window frame. The current windshield comes from a newer model and was purchased in order to be able to drive the car. Willys is not 100% consistent with the original. It has several elements similar in appearance to the original but indicating the place of its renovation. For example, rims from a Volga, a K303 carburetor from a Zaporozhets engine, radiators from an unidentified vehicle, clocks with inscriptions in Cyrillic, front beam. Currently, the car does not have an engine. There were large knocking sounds from the crank system and at the very end the seal between the engine and the gearbox broke, hence the decision to remove and renovate the engine. The engine was fully overhauled and unpleasant things were discovered, such as a crack between cylinders 3 and 4 (visible in the photos) and the shaft well beyond the values suitable for grinding. I talked to several people, it is possible to repair it or look for other parts. The connecting rods were equipped with poured "babbit" bearings. This is probably why the shaft was made to such dimensions. I am selling the car due to lack of funds for further investments and lack of willingness and time to renovate it. It is sold in the condition as described and shown in the photos. I have tried to ensure that the advertisement reflects the actual situation 100%. Please contact me and inspect it :)
