Genuine 1934 Lagonda Rapier with Tourer body; an interesting pre-war special akin to that of the 'Eagle' design by Newns of Thames Ditton. It features a pre-selector gearbox which is still in situ, along with the proper 1100cc twin overhead cam engine. The car started life as a saloon, possibly an Abbot body, but was modified over sixty years ago (it is listed as a Tourer in the 1957 log-book entry). The windscreen is present but not fitted. Side screens and a tonneau are also present with the car. The car was in the same ownership since 1976 and has a modern V5 log-book, along with its original buff log-book. The engine is free and when last used c. 20 years ago the car was reputedly running. Delivery can be provided by us.
