1958' Land Rover Series 2

This is my 1958 series 2. 2litre Perkins turbo Diesel engine with re conditioned injection pump and injectors. Its had a new timing belt with the tensioner and idler pulleys replaced. The radiator is new as the old one looked suspect. It’s fitted with a galvanised chassis and door tops. Has fairey overdrive and free wheeling hubs. The overdrive has new linkage to stop an annoying rattle.
It’s recently had new shoes, drums and cylinders fitted like round. The fronts are 11 inch LWB ones for better performance. Servo fitted.
The swivel housings, front wheel bearings and drive shaft u/ j’s have been replaced.
The track rod and drag link have been replaced with Heavy duty ones as they are better than the Britpart ones. The wiper motors have been serviced and fitted with stainless steel external hardware.
It’s recently had all the oils changed and will come with some gear oil as we all know they do like to mark their territory! There will be some spares included.
I’m only selling Katie as we are moving house. As you can see I’ve spent some money on her and I’ve used her as a daily driver when I can.
