LINCOLN CONTINENTAL TOWN CAR 1977 – MOVIE CAR – AMERICAN GANGSTER
For sale is a unique 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car - a full-size American limousine from a time when cars were built without compromise.
This particular copy, however, has much more than just the style and atmosphere of the era.
The car was used during the production of the film American Gangster starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe and, according to available documentation, it was one of two vehicles used during scenes involving the shooting of the car.
The copy retains characteristic traces of special effects prepared for the film - there are numerous traces of "shot holes" on the body and windows, as well as elements of installations and cables inside the vehicle, which may indicate the use of additional film effects during the production of action scenes.
This is not a car styled to resemble a gangster movie.
This is a real movie car with a history, whose character and authenticity can be felt in practically every detail.
