This time warp car was featured in both Custom Car and Hot Car magazines in the early 1970’s . This race car was built from a new Lotus elan and had its body customised by Camden Motors ( a Lotus dealer) The running gear uprated for racing ( 26 R drive train) and the only Phase 111 BRM twin cam fitted to an elan . I have all documentation including letters from the Chief Engineer of BRM and BIll Marshall for who it was built . The car is still fitted with its original Corbeau GT4 seats and runs on 9” JAP alloy wheels . She has only covered 32000 miles from new and has an illustrious past as she raced at Santa Pod and Blackbush . She has been part of a small Lotus collection and is entirely roadworthy with a small amount of re- commissioning . The engine is regularly started and the car moved to ensure all operates correctly She has been in dry storage . The car has a new Lotus galvanised chassis and is currently yellow as the photos . I leave it to the new owner to have the courage to restore her as she raced . Please call for more details . She isn’t cheap but she is fast and unique . Must go to make way for new addition to the Stable
