NOTE Sold new in Holland by the Maasland dealer to the first owner, it was registered on 20 October 1959.
Originally the car was white with a red interior.
On December 29, 1965 the property was transferred to the second owner J. V. Bertholee residing at 'S-Gravenhage.
Over the years of its ownership, the car was repainted in blue.
In 1988 ownership passed to Mike van Helsdingen. At that time the car was complete but after many years of non-use it needed a complete restoration.
It was then completely disassembled to begin the restoration works which, lasting for several years, finally induced van Helsdingen to give up and in 2006 to sell it to an Italian professional specialized in “Touring Superleggera” cars.
After a few months, on February 9, 2007, the professional resold it to an Italian collector who started a high-level professional restoration.
Over the following years, the bodywork and mechanics were completely restored, but the completion and assembly work slowed down significantly due to the difficulty of finding the numerous spare parts and finishes necessary to complete the restoration.
Even the Italian collector gave up and decided to sell the car to Cristiano Luzzago who bought it on 9 June 2014.
Taking advantage of his experience and knowledge of the sector, Cristiano completes the restoration over the course of the year and puts the car back on the road.
The car became part of the private collection of Cristiano Luzzago who over the following years used it to participate in events of the “Touring Superleggera Register” and other local events.
The restoration works carried out since 2014 are accompanied by supporting invoices and there are also all the invoices of the maintenance and improvement works carried out over the years to date.
The engine and chassis numbers match.
The original Dutch registration certificate is still present in the car documentation.
