1984' Mercedes-Benz 230 W123 230Ce

Hi, welcome, thanks for looking.

For sale is my old w123 230ce.

I had this on the road for years, but then sold it, and when i bought it back it was considerably more rusty due to being stored under a tree for a year and a half!

So i proceeded to treat some of the rust, but in doing so i exposed more, and like a moth to the flame i just kept stripping the car until it ended up as it is now, a shell!

Basically this car is ready for full restoration, i've done all the hard work of stripping it apart, everything has been taken out and retained for rebuild, interior, glass, dash, everything, i've even removed the engine and gearbox so a proper respray could be carried out.

I had plans to put a big yank v8 in her, chevy 350, but i just don't think i'll ever get round to it. But you never know...

Anyway, i've had a quote to get the bodywork restored and resprayed for £2500 which isn't bad at all, so restoration wouldn't cost the earth, and just look at what they're starting to sell for in good condition!

Please come have a look if your interested, it's rotten in many areas, including sills, bulkheads, boot/inner wheel arch, rear window lower seal area, passenger footwell and o/s A post.

All of which sounds scary, but really isn't that bad in the grand scheme of how much these cars can rot!
