Seller's comments about 1971' Mercedes-Benz 250 CE
I am selling a Mercedes 250 CE from a private collection. European version - 2.5l, 6-cylinder in-line engine with injection, 150 horses, automatic transmission, registered in Sweden on April 28, 1971 and used there until 2004. On a European scale, a completely unique two-color version (sand beige metallic and chocolate brown) fully compliant with the VIN. The car has beautiful leather upholstery (without fabric inserts) in chocolate color. The car drives perfectly and is very comfortable, of course as a classic car. Meter reading confirmed by technical inspection. After almost two decades of storage, it was brought to Poland, where it stayed completely dismantled, and then underwent a full bodywork and painting renovation specialized service. The renovation took almost two years. The interior and all accessories were in very good condition age and mileage, which is why they have only been professionally cleaned. Our goal was to preserve the original atmosphere without creating a brand new car. Mechanically the car also underwent a series of renovation procedures, including the replacement of all fluid seals , replacement of many parts or possible regeneration. Two-color body and car equipment is fully consistent with the VIN (which is confirmed by the date card obtained from the Mercedes Benz archives). It is the so-called very sought after the first series of the W114 stricht 8 model characterized by, among others, smooth rear lamps, small chrome side mirrors, triangular hinged door windows and a classic two-piece steering wheel. The car is garaged in Warsaw.
