Seller's comments about 1980' Mercedes-Benz W123
I have been using the car since 2016, when my father imported it from Austria. I add papers from there documenting the previous owners, from new to the purchase by my father.
It is fully functional mechanically, but needs the care of a tinsmith.
The driver's side sill is corroded and the bottoms of the doors are also starting to rust.
I closed the trunk some time ago and it stopped opening.
On the good side, it's nominally a 200D model, but someone made a conversion to the slightly more powerful 2.4L unit from the 240D model, so it's quite pleasant to drive, albeit slowly. It has a sunroof but I have never tried to open it. It has power steering, recently done brakes and a brake/clutch servo. It has a hook.
Inspection until February, third party liability insurance until the end of December.
