Welcome to Street Dreams Texas as we celebrate our 17th year in the classic and muscle car business. This stunning Mercury is one of the most unusual rides that we have seen in some time. A tribute to the ultra-rare 1946 Sportsman, this Merc's "wood" is actually airbrushed onto the steel body. Photographs simply can't convey the skill required to complete this work of art. There are actually "joints" connecting the "wood"! Beneath that classic hood lurks a 350 ci Chevy with a Holley carb sitting on a B&M supercharger. An AOD transmission sends power back to a stout Ford 9" rearend. Yes, you can shock the kids and scare the neighbors! Some items for enhanced cruising pleasure include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and an Alpine sound system. All of the chrome is bright and beautiful and the chassis shows very well. A truly unique ride built with a tremendous amount of skill.
