1981' MG Gt Le

An opportunity to purchase one of the last MGB’s produced which was professionally converted to a V8 by The Abingdon Classic Car Company in December 1982 where it was fitted with Rover SD1 3. 5litre engine, Rover SD1 5 speed gearbox, balanced propshaft, and differential mated to MG half-shafts. The vehicle underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2004 costing around £10k when it was also converted to chrome bumpers.
The bodywork and mechanicals are in good condition, the paintwork is metallic silver and good but there are a couple of surface rust spots which will require attention. The interior is original with black leather seats and a leather Moto Lita steering wheel. There is a comprehensive vehicle history folder with the vehicle which includes the original bill of sale and subsequent conversion to V8. It is MOT’d which expires July 2022.
