This is a truly beautiful example of the MGA Coupé. It is a 1958 model, finished in Chariot Red with chrome wire wheels. The car is an older restoration having been extensively rebuilt and refurbished in the mid-1980s by BHB Engineering Ltd. Since then it has been kept in tip-top condition with a proper regime of maintenance and repair, as can be seen from the extensive history file that accompanies the car. More recently it has been completely re-upholstered in high quality black leather with red piping, new carpets, new headlining and freshly re-trimmed door cards. The cabin of any MGA is a nice place to be, but this one is spectacularly good. The boot was also retrimmed in black carpet, piped red. Most recently, in December 2019, the car was resprayed by XK Engineering at a cost of £6000 plus. The quality of this work is quite outstanding, as you can see from the photographs. Lastly, the car is presented on new Michelin ZX tyres and is equipped with a new battery. The front shock absorbers were exchanged for rebuilt units in December 2021. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition and drives wonderfully.
