1959 MGA 1500 model fitted with the more desirable 1600 engine believed to be from later in the same year.
British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate available.
Build date of 12-13 January 1959, originally a Left-Hand Drive North American export now back in England.
Odometer reads 27,986 miles but unlikely to be genuine.
Restored mid 90’s, new clutch in 2013, regularly maintained.
Dash, carpets and door cards with large map pockets are in fantastic condition. Jaeger instruments.
Roof is recent. Side curtains and tonneau cover present.
Condition overall is very good. The exterior is Orient Red and the interior black with red piping. Seats and upholstery are above average.
Bodywork is good with no structural issues, panel gaps are good. Although an older restoration, would not take much to put her into show condition. Has heater and adjustable steering column as factory fitted options. New battery, new radiator, new front suspension bushes.
