For sale is an iconic British MG MGB roadster manufactured in 1978. The car I bought from a renowned classic and sports car dealer in July 2021. Since I got this car, I have done about 2000 km. I drove the first season without any failures, and in the winter the car had a thorough service. - replacement of all operating fluids (oil in the engine, gearbox, diff, coolant, oil in carburetors) - sealing all leaks and new gaskets (valve cover, differential, oil pan, carburetors) - valve adjustment - repair of the timing chain tensioner - preventive replacement head gaskets - head planning - valve lapping - carburetor regeneration - carburetor adjustment and synchronization - welding and installation of air filters on carburetors - additional fuel filter installed - adding an additional tank for overflows in the carburetor - lamp ignition setting - conversion of the ignition device to electronic ignition - the problem with platinum finishes has been eliminated - the ignition coil has been replaced - new spark plugs - inspection of the electrical installation. The car has a completely new paint coating. There is ZERO RUST on the body and chassis! Everything in the car works as it should, mechanically it is in perfect condition. The engine works perfectly. It is lively and responds very well to gas. The suspension is stiff. The brakes are also fully functional. The interior of the MG is also in very good condition. The floor covering is also new and refreshed. The seats are still original but in perfect condition! Inside there is a more modern radio, along with Bluetooth and a hands-free kit. Externally it has original "Rubber" bumpers. "Rubber Bumpers" - were a requirement of the old law abroad that during a collision at low speed, e.g. in a traffic jam, they did not cause much damage. The bodywork is also in very good condition. There is a trunk for suitcase-type luggage on the tailgate. The MG has a front bumper lip, which is a very rare element in this type of vehicle. It visually lowers the vehicle and gives it an even more sporty character. The roof folds very well and easily - by hand, of course. It is also in good condition, the rear window is intact. I consent to having the car checked at the service/workshop selected by the buyer - at the buyer's expense. I have absolutely no pressure to sell. The car is registered normally with white plates, sold under a purchase and sale agreement. Inspection and third party liability insurance up to date. Third party liability insurance is purchased annually, but it is possible to use short-term insurance, purchased only while using the vehicle. The car is over 40 years old and is classified as a historical vehicle. I invite you to view and purchase. I prefer to sell it, but exchanging it for something interesting is also an option, but only with a possible additional payment in my direction. -
