1964 MGB ROADSTER
PULL HANDLE EARLY MODEL
POSSIBLE FIA ELIGABLE
A very solid and complete MGB Roadster - just arrived from sunny California
extremely solid, complete and original -
All original metal and panels with aluminium Bonnet
having imported a few early MGB's from the states - this one is by far the most solid and original project - with 99% of its original parts still in place
believed to be a deluxe model with folding rather than pack away hood frame - ( no hood )
wire wheel model - non overdrive
It has received paintwork at some point over its lifetime which is now showings its age - however the metal work is extremely solid
areas to mention needing work are the front floorpans ( common on USA cars as roofs are always down and water settles inside and rusts out ) i think it could just be the forward floor pans that need replacing as a visual underneath shows solid metal.
Ideal start form novice restorer or with limited welding experience
nice desirable early car
still showing body colour on the underside in places - and side views are extremely straight with original sills still in place
we have had this running for a short time from a slave fuel tank and from off the key - however it will need futher work / service / tune to improve
overall this is an extremley easy project and mostly rust free ( apart from areas previously mentioned )
