Seller's comments about 1969' MG MGC

1969 MGC GT 2900cc. Superb Car Throughout. MOT Exempt. Free Road Tax. Low Cost Classic Insurance. This beautiful car comes with a large history file and has benefited from numerous improvements and upgrades during its 13 years with its last owner.A knowledgeable local classic car enthusiast with a collection of interesting and desirable classics and the ability to carry out his own work has maintained and improved the car throughout his ownership. The bodywork, interior, boot, engine bay and underside are all in remarkably good shape. I can see no obvious signs of previous welding or major restoration work, and the car appears to be largely original as far as I can tell.On the road, it is a brilliant little driver, starting readily, performing well, and with no untoward noises, rattles, or issues that I could detect. The car is in Northern Ireland and has a standard UK V5 registration; it’s usable anywhere in the UK without re-registration or import duties. It's long term owenership in N. I. also makes it suitable for export to R. O. I. Announced in late 1967 and built until 1969, the MGC was MG’s six-cylinder grand tourer, offered in Roadster and GT versions. Conceived as the successor to the Austin-Healey 3000, the MGC was visually close to the MGB, but tuned for high-speed touring rather than sharp-edged responses. Total production stood at 8, 999.Please keep in mind she is 57 years old and not to be compared to your modern daily driver, however it is a solid, usable car that drives and looks well.HPI CHECKED – The car has been checked and there is no known outstanding finance, mileage issues, or insurance records of damage or theft.DELIVERY - We can help with delivery anywhere in the UK or Ireland at very reasonable rates.WHO AM I - I began as an apprentice mechanic in 1974, started my own car business in 1982, expanding to Newtownards in 1993. After selling the business my classic car passion led to the creation of Cherryvalley Cars and Classics.VIEWING - By appointment only.CONTACT - Harry -
