Seller's comments about 1979' MG Midget

This little gem had been off the road since 2020 and required only light recommissioning to bring it back to its current condition.A cracking little convertible showing just 37, 800 miles. Although the mileage cannot be verified, the car's excellent overall condition and the way it performs on the road would certainly suggest that it is genuine.The bodywork, interior, boot, engine bay and underside are all in remarkably good shape. I can see no obvious signs of previous welding or major restoration work, and the car appears to be largely original as far as I can tell.On the road, it is a brilliant little drive, starting readily, performing well, and with no untoward noises, rattles, or issues that I could detect.The accompanying Heritage Certificate shows the car was first registered to Robert Moore & Sons Ltd Randalstown in 1979. As the first V5 was not issued until 1982, it’s believed the car was retained by the dealer before being sold to its first retail owner in 1982.The car is in Northern Ireland and has a standard UK V5 registration; it’s usable anywhere in the UK without re-registration or import duties. It's long term owenership in N. I. also makes it suitable for export to R. O. I.
