This 1948 car left Oxford in 1948 destined for California where it spent it's life in a dry sunny climate . In 2000 it was purchased buy a collector who had the engine rebuilt and the car totally refurbished, painted & trimmed in the finest Connolly hide, with new tonneau cover and side panels. The wheels were chromed. I doubt it has ever seen rain since. It has it's original wooden frame, matching numbers of course and is as near as any TC could be to the day it left Cowley Oxford. No rust, doors etc open and shut in line and has an overall fine pattiner. It has a complete tool kit including feeler gauges etc, it has it's original jack and starting handle.I have just had the carbs cleaned and reinstated and it starts on the button. The car is registered in the uk and ready to go with all the paperwork required .
