1968' MINI Cooper

Morris Mini Cooper project which was taken off the road many years ago and has been subject to a number of changes resulting in many new parts being added. However the Project has, like many others, stalled along the way and the outcome is that I have now moved away from the mini scene and this car needs to be finished and used by an enthusiast.
Could be taken back to an original spec by a committed enthusiast or just finished off with all the changes for something a little different in the very varied and huge mini following.
The body shell is an original 1968 Cooper and was subject to a restoration some 15 years ago before I purchased it, as such the shell is in excellent structural condition.
Currently running a 1275 cc engine and Log Book updated to reflect that. Engine runs fine but needs a good tune up. I will try and get that done in the next few days so she is running ok.
Previous owner had changed the Speedo but I understand the mileage on the engine to have been around 65, 000 miles
Both subframes have been removed from the car and subjected to a complete clean up and protection by way of POR15 application.
New copper brake pipes fitted all round, new Coil spring suspension from Huddersfield Mini spares fitted front and rear with new Shock Absorbers.
Interior consists of Black cloth Cobra High Back seats with a matching cloth rear bench seat. Doors have been modified to accept the wider seats with the door bin reduced and converted to a drinks holder.
All dials are new items from Mini Spares,
Other new items include
New Radiator and Hoses,
New Handrake cables
New Window Rubbers, including both front and rear screens
Included in sale is polycarbon rear screen and rear side windows which have never been fitted but were made to order.
This is definitely a project and as such will need to be trailered away and currently has no glass fitted and has no MOT or Road Tax.
