1957' Morris Minor 1000 De-Luxe

A nice example and a well presented car. It has undergone an almost complete re-build during the last few years with some modern modifications to make it suitable for everyday use; these include Metro front seats with seat belts, a complete new braking system with 8" front drums, an RDS radio / disc player, a socket for a sat-nav, hazard warning lights, converted to negative earth with battery isolator switch etc.
The original semaphore turn indicators are still working, although it is fitted with below bumper mounted turn indicator lights; it also has sealed beam headlight units.
It has poly bushed suspension, new rear springs and is fitted with an unused tow-bar (added to mount a cycle rack). There is a re-conditioned gearbox and rebuilt 1098 engine with a lead-free head, a new heritage petrol tank and new SU fuel pump.

The body and underside is in splendid condition with the box sections internally rustproofed and it has almost new radial tyres. It drives and pulls very well.All the HT electricals have been replaced for reliability.
There have been four previous owners and it is on the original number plate.It is enjoys free road tax and is MOT exempt.
The heritage certificate shows it still has its original matching locks, there are three keys. It is used regularly on low mileage runs. Fully serviced and extensively waxoyled. With workshop manual and original owner's hand-book.
