Seller's comments about 1963' Morris Minor
When it comes to being upgraded for modern driving conditions and performance then this Trafalgar Blue 1963 Minor convertible has had the full catalogue thrown at it!
Firstly to improve power and performance then engine has been upgraded with a 1275cc Midget A series, to pack more punch this coupled with a Midget rear diff allows for a more sporty feel when driving her as the gearing is just right.
Given the Minors added power she has also had the brakes upgraded to Servo assisted discs which pull her up a lot better than the original 7 inch drum brakes would have done.
She has also had the front suspension upgraded to telescopic on the front for a smoother ride, and an alternator for improved charging as well as temp, oil pressure and amp gauges to monitor the Minor whilst driving.
Its safe to say that the Convertible not only drives well, she drives superbly modified perfectly to achieve the best out of her.
The underside of the Minor and the usual problem areas show no signs of rot or rust, these will be protected with your choice of treatment before she leaves.
The Trafalgar blue paintwork is nice and clean with a lovey shine although not perfect it is presentable.
The chrome is also presentable, she has had new powder coated wheels and tyres fitted.
Interior wise again the Minor is very presentable, she has had the front seats upgraded with reclining ones which allow for a lot more comfort and safety,
The door cards and trims are all in good order, she has had a new black mohair hood fitted.
Overall if you are looking for a minor tourer which is a real drivers example then this will be the one for you.
She drives great and looks pretty damned good too.
The Minor is an original MAT vin factory tourer and in our opinion is a bargain given her spec list.
