The vehicle was originally produced for the American market and is characterized by its solid construction, high level of driving comfort, and distinctive design featuring generous chrome trim. At the time, this model series was regarded as a modern and comfortable mid-size vehicle and was considered technologically advanced, particularly due to its early Hydramatic automatic transmission.

In 2025, the vehicle underwent an individual TÜV inspection and an H-certification report was issued for its registration as a historic vehicle. Furthermore, a Classic Analytics vehicle appraisal was prepared in October 2025, assigning the car a condition rating of 1- as well as a market value of EUR 49, 500 and a replacement value of EUR 57, 200.
The vehicle will be handed over with a valid roadworthiness inspection certificate (HU) until September 2027.
