1941' Pontiac Deluxe

1941 Pontiac Deluxe Torpedo Convertible. This car put Pontiac on par with some of the most luxurious automobiles available. This vehicle with the, $25 extra, Straight Eight engine, could be easily recognized by the longer Head-Dress on the Indian Head Hood Ornament. This convertible, for the first time, offered a vacumn operated top, prior to this, it had to be manually raised or lowered. The interior in this Black car is Red leather. This car has not had a full restoration, only items that had shown wear, were replaced or restored. This car was owned by a dentist in East Tennessee for years, who drove the car regularly. This is another trip into the past. Let the top down and let your mind wander back to yesteryear!
