Seller's comments about 1979' Pontiac Firebird

1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has a cool survivor style you see on a one-owner car. And while proper V8 power, four-wheel disc brakes, and T-tops all get your attention, youll also just love this T/As vintage charm. Sundance Yellow is cool factory color to have, because the creamy yellow just seems to represent the late 1970s ideally. So not only Is this the factory-correct color, but also its believed to be the original application. Were told this is a one-owner vehicle. The finish is not perfect, but thats not the point of a car like this. The yellow still looks vibrant but has the right amount of fade for people to understand you have a survivor without ever saying a word. So while the budget price leaves room for a respray, it can only be original once. Because this is an aggressive Trans Am, you get all the performance pieces you love, like the shaker hood, sport body kit, fender vents, full-width rear spoiler, and a bold sunset-style decal package. There are even nice period-correct additions like the front bra and rear window louvers. It gives this the kind of presentation like someone bought every option and accessory at the Pontiac dealership for their high-end Trans Am. The camel interior is a great complementing color to the exterior because it nicely coordinates with the tone of the yellow. So that just gives you another reason to take the T-tops out. Just like the exterior its quite correct and a survivor. So white its not perfect, it has all the details we love, right down to the cloth seats with stylish hobnail-style inserts. Power windows, the machined-turned dash insert, and the hallmark sports steering mounted on a tilt column make this feel comfortable and sporty. There are additional features like the tach, power locks, and factory air condition that will need servicing before working properly. The Pioneer cassette stereo has the cool look of a period correct upgrade. In fact, with the seven-band equalizer and CB radio mounted in the headliner, this really has the same feeling as the exterior of a loaded car with every feature that was around in 1979. Under the hood is the correct 403 cubic-inch V8. It has the same kind of honest presentation as the rest of this Pontiac, and with its one-owner story, its easy to believe this is the cars original powerplant. The hoses and belts show that this has been maintained correctly, and the way it fires up readily reaffirms this care. The V8 inhales deeply with the four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a sweet sound out of the quad-tip dual exhaust. Power steering and the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission makes this Trans Am easy to enjoy. And these are known for their handling thanks to features like four-wheel power disc brakes, sway bars front & rear, and BF Goodrich T/A tires on the iconic snowflake alloys. Original, loaded, and distinct, this is the strong-running T/A that represents a great untouched legacy. Call today!!!
