An interesting car in many ways
Now then, here we have a very interesting car - a Scimitar GTE Manual finished in beige with a lovely dark tan interior and a brown vinyl roof. It was supplied by one of the leading Scimitar specialists, Graham Walker Ltd in Chester, but the intriguing thing about it is that it has been in long term storage and the odometer is only showing 4, 502 miles which the vendor believes could be correct. Now, none of us know for sure if that is correct or not, but looking at the car it could well be. As ever we invite you to come and see what you think, but as these cars go this is a nice example and it is very credible and believable.
The specification would appear to be as it left the factory with the correct trim, a Webasto-style sunroof and the correct alloys. The chrome is very good and the engine bay is in superb condition. Bearing in mind this is not a barn find, it has been stored correctly, it is showing a few age related paint marks here and there but not as bad as you would expect to find. The Reliant still wears its driving lamps and Graham Walker stickers, etc. This GTE really does need to be seen, it is not a difficult project but would be very rewarding and if the mileage is correct, wow, what a car you would have! Come and see it, it will be well worth the journey.
