Renault Monaquatre Type YN3 - 1935
Renault from 1935 in a very nice condition, a car that was used in Sweden, original interior, engine, varnish in the 70s was probably refreshed, driving until 2014, now garaged for 9 years and it needs to be restarted. I invite you to buy, the price is negotiable
Launched in October 1931, the Renault Monaquatre YN1 was similar in design to the larger Renault Primaquatre family car. In October 1933, the YN2 type with a more sloping grille appeared at the Paris Motor Show, but was only produced for three months before the new, more aerodynamic YN3 type appeared in early 1934, initially with only two body styles to choose from. In September 1935, production of the last version, the Type YN4, was completed. The Monaquatre was then replaced by the Renault Celtaquatre.
The current owner bought it together with GeKås founder Göran Karlsson in the 1990s and the car was on some show in Ullared. An older plate with a metal county letter D suggests in any case that it was registered in Södermanland county at the beginning of its operation. With the help of the National Archives search services, you can therefore easily research the history of a car if you wish.
Technical condition:
The car has not been run since 2014 but was previously owner driven. A normal engine, electrical and brake inspection is required before it can be used. The engine compartment appears to be in pristine original condition.
Interior condition:
Stylish plush interior that feels genuine, with pretty door sides in the same material. Good mats, little wear or moisture damage on the left rear.
External condition:
Nice older paintwork with normal signs of use in lovely condition, possibly repainted at some point. Nice chrome and good glass all around. Broken handle on the right rear door (photo).
General condition:
A representative and well-kept copy of the model, which itself was not produced in a larger series or for a longer period.
