Riley nine Monaco plus ultra first registered 1932. This sports saloon is extremely original it has only covered 57,000 miles from new with full documented history. This vehicle was supplied new by aero motors in Newcastle and stayed with its first owner until 1958 and covered 47,000 miles in that time. The car was restored in 1976 by them to a very high standard but keeping as much originality as possible. The seats are the original leather although the bellows have been replaced with foam which is possibly more comfortable and definitely more practical, the engine performs extremely well and has just been set up on the rolling road for performance and economy. The gearbox is a manual for speed silent third model which is a delight to use The sunroof opens easily and even the little hatch above the windscreen opens.This car has surprising performance for a 9 hp it keeps up with modern traffic and cruises comfortably 50/55 mph a more original one might be hard to find. Supplied with a very large history file original buff logbooks, maintenance manual and instruction book.
