Age: 90 years

After few years of ownership and great moments spent with doing rallyes in France, I have decided move to sale my Riley Nine Monaco.

Originally bought in 1931 to Mr. Leverett (Riley rallye racer and winner of Monte Carlos Rallye in 1931) in his dealership, the first owner got in prepared with the Rallye specs (very few cars got prepared at the time - 14) - I have the original invoice:
- Double SU carburetors
- Spare wheel with cover
- Fuel gauge
- 7 gallons tank
During this time this car was very well serviced (all invoice available from new)

Then the car got sold to another owner, who sold it only 2 years after.

The third owner, Gerry Dick, is very well known by the Riley community. He was the former president of the Riley Register Club. I bought the car in 1972 and kept it until his death.
His family sold it to me (which makes me the 4th owner) in 2018.
During those 46 years, the car has been extremely well preserved (big pile of invoices) and very well used. Gerry and his family were doing longs trips across Europe every year.

Since I acquired it:
- The engine and the gearbox have been rebuilt
- The Dynamo has been refurbished and the charging system is woking perfectly (few night rallyes done with no issues)
- The electrical loom has been fully inspected and all damaged wires have been replaced.
- Tires are all new

The car is in a very well preserved condition and is presenting absolutely no sign of rust nor rotten wood
The original leather inside is in mint condition and show an excellent patina.

Asking price: 30, 000€ or 25, 000£ (To debate / Or ear offer)
