2008 AWARD WINNER - Car entered in the RM Riley Annual Concour Event
Refurbish details:
2006 we stripped the paint ff the car back to bare metal, tetra-etched the bare metal, grey undercoated and applied top coat black and yellow.
The engine was removed and stripped down, the crank shaft reground and new big end shells fitted.
Bores and pistons, checked - all good.
All valves reground into cylinder head.
Oil pump stripped and cleaned.
Timing chain, check - all good.
New clutch and pressure plated fitted.
SU carburettor stripped and cleaned.
Engine rebuilt, oil and coolant added, engine started - all good.
Dashboard part covered in American burr walnut.
All seat covers replaced with real brown leather.
Door card and inside boot covered in brown leather.
New carpets fitted inside the car and boot.
New head lining and new roof cover (fitted in 2007).
Aerial and radio fitted.
All chrome work replaced.
New wiring harness fitted.
4 new indicator lights fitted.
New wooden steering wheel fitted.
Reconditioned radiator and water pump fitted (2014).
