1937 Rolls Royce 25/ 30 Barker Six Light Limousine Chassis number: GHO37 Registration Number: WG6367 This lovely old Rolls Royce comes to us from a sprightly 90 year old lady whoms late partner bought the car in 1984 no less almost 40 years ago. The car has been laid up for 5 years but run occasionaly during that time. When parked up the car was in fine fettle with a silent engine. We have just had the car fully serviced & recommissioned & have driven 30 or so miles in it. The engine is quiet & the cars & drives very well. Coachwork is by Barker & is unusual in that it sports twin oval rear windows. Inside the car is very original with Bedford cord to the rear & black leather to the front. Twin occasional seats fold out of the bulkhead. The paint is older yellow over balck with patination & age. It is however presentable & probably is best left as it is. A large assortment of bills including a full engine rebuild come with the car. It also features on the back cover of Bernard King's seminal tome "The Rolls Royce 25/ 30 & wraith." There is a bill for new tyres fitted to the car not so many miles ago. A brand new unfitted spare also comes with the car. This is a tall spacious car with seating for 7 people inside. It originally was supplied to one J Hay Esq in Stirlingshire Scotland via the Clyde Motor Company.
