1933' Rover 12 Hp

This pretty and well balanced Rover 12 hp special was originally a four door saloon. The special was designed for competition, trials and hill climbs in particular. The chassis was shortened the engine rebuilt and a body constructed using the traditional method of wood framing with ply and fabric covering. There is an extensive photographic record of this high quality build.
Used for some years but not campaigned as was the original intention. Although the car is running well there is a crack in the block, however there is
a spare partially dismantled engine included in this sale. The spare engine bores are good and the big ends and main bearings appear sound there is also a spare clutch
The Rover drives nicely and due to its light weight is quick with light steering and effective brakes.
