I am reducing my car collection and am reluctantly selling my beautiful late Mk 2 Triumph Stag a. k. a. “Thelma”. There cant be many matching numbers, correct spec, useable Stags in better all-round condition, especially in the desirable combo of near perfect Inca yellow paintwork with manual/ overdrive transmission and original rare hard top. Warranted mileage of just 78k miles. Waxoiled throughout, zero rust and never been welded. Everything works as it should and is a real fun eye catching car. Five owners in total, garaged/ dry use by just three fastidious keepers since 1985, including myself since 2017. HUGE history file with receipts/ MOTS original handbook and wallet, magazine articles, original 70s sales literature etc dating back to 1985, including all manner of work, key points being an engine rebuild 4000 miles ago by StagTech, new mohair soft top, new alloy wheels, seat refurbishment and new covers, new steering rack, brake cylinders, clutch overhaul and minor paint correction as necessary. This car has wanted for nothing and in the last Year has benefitted from over £4000 worth of work to keep her in tip top shape by my local Classic Car specialist and body shop. Benefits from modern upgrades including electronic ignition, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, CD player, electric ariel, rear seat belts, window etching.
Original plate PBA 3R which has been valued at £1100 comes with the car. Obviously MOT and TAX exempt, but she does still have a current MOT with all advisories dealt with. Interestingly also, she has been used in two music videos, with over 7million views to date! Search Youtube for “Summer is a curse” official video by The Faim to see the star in action! Any inspection welcome.
