The Triumph Stag is a 2+2 sports tourer styled by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. Featuring monocoque construction, independent suspension, power assisted steering and drivetrain of the Triumph 2000 saloon. All stags were built as four seat convertibles with the addition of a roll bar attached to the windscreen via T-bar this was to conform with American safety standards. Powered by 3000cc V8 engine producing 145bhp propelled the car from 0-60mph in just 10. 5 secs and onto 117 mph.
