1974' TVR 3000

1974 TVR 3000ML

Up for sale is my 1974 TVR 3000ML.

The ML model was produced between 1973 and 1974 as a luxury version of the 3000M. When I purchased the car I understood that only 5 are known to exist today and two of these were owned overseas.

This car was restored by a well respected restorer in 2015 and there was an article covering his amazing work in the March 2016 issue of the TVR car club sprint magazine. It was of such high quality that it won the new restoration of the year award at the pre-80s extravaganza that year. Although the mileage has clearly increased a little since then it is not significant and the car remains in great condition overall.

As part of the restoration it had the chassis hot zinc primed and powder coated, a reconditioned gearbox and diff and the engine upgraded with a Kent fast road cam. The paintwork is very good and the car has an alloy fuel tank, electric fan and stainless exhaust. I have a paper copy of the spreadsheet which details all of the parts replaced which is extensive and shows the work that went into this.

Since owning the car I have had the pleasure of driving and maintaining it with a small number of modifications along the way including a nice set of stainless steel bumpers which I feel completes the look of the car but I could change these back to the black fibreglass version if you wish. I know it doesn’t need it but it does have an MOT as I like to ensure it is checked each year in addition to my own maintenance.
