Here for sale is a stunning looking 1931 Vauxhall Cadet. 2.2 straight 6 overhead valve engine.First registered in Wigan Lancashire, 28 February 1931, and still bears her original registration number, and was named \"Betsy\".This car is in lovely condition. It Looks and drives superbly.The car was restored in the 1980s by JS Leaver of Blackburn and then put on show in his showroom.Betsy was once owned by a famous Preston North End player; Bobby Crawford back in the 50s as seen in the picture. The old original log book still bears his nameThere is a history folder that comes with the car, that contains plenty of interesting facts and pictures. This makes a great read and proves how well loved this car has been.In the folder it states that Betsy has only done 14k miles, and, there is every reason to believe that this is genuine.The cylinder head has supported a conversion so that it can run on unleaded fuel.The body work still supports lovely paint work and looks very impressive.The interior is doing ok. The leather work is starting to falter a little. It one of those dilemma's: restore or leave. Personally I would work on the existing leather. I have further pictures that show the interior in a true light.There is also a crack in the rear drivers side window. which is no detriment to the car.Its a lovely car to drive and can keep up with todays modern traffic. She is a real head turner.This car is very imposing on the road and looks every inch the superior car from its day.she has been used as a wedding car in the past, again supported with pictures in her folder.For what we are asking for the car is a real lot of car for the money and would be a sound future investment.There are many more pictures that can be shared if you are interested.Any further questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
