Great power to weight ratio, 162hp @ 750kg.
This Beetle has been totally rebuilt with many tasty modifications, the aim throughout the build was to keep the original look as best as possible.
Engine has a machined and reinforced AS-41 Mexico block. 94mm AA tube/ piston kit with 11. 05 compressions. 84 mm polished crankshaft, Porsche necks and oil injectors for pistons. 5. 5" H-profile connecting rods, DRD L7 cnc machined and stepped heads, Big Beef shortened and flipped intake manifolds, Del Orto DRLA 45mm carburetors, CSP air filter system. Kingfilter fuel filter and electric pump, JPM Raptor 288 cam, & starter rattles and 1. 4 :1 CB rockers, MSD AL-6 ignition - now with 5500 RPM limiter 162 hp / 220 Nm. Lightened flywheel, 8 patting, Kennedy stage 2 clutch, Rancho Pro Street with 3:88 gears, billet cheeks and super diff. Karpiola HD vetaris. Shadek 30 mm oil pump, Filter with thermostat and Setrab oil cooling with thermostatic deflector on the side of the gearbox.
A/ C SideWinder exhaust system, flutes are for decoration only.
Adjustable Puma Front axle with struts and 19 mm stabilizer. Rear camber compensator support spring inch lowering. 2 circuit CSP disc brakes front and rear. VW Polo rack and pinion steering with damper. CSP Käfer Cup behind the support.
Body pained in Fjord Blue (L 434) colour and up to the upholstery to the original, imitating the standard look without window glass strips.
12-volt electricity, LED lights with US connections, H4 in front + indicators in Hella blinds.
Mileage driven since completion is approx. 2500 km
