Seller's comments about 1969' Volkswagen Transporter
The car comes from the Swiss army and was imported by me from Switzerland in 2008 in perfect condition. It has never let me down and I have traveled all over Europe with it. It is in a unique version of the "gardener tin adapter". - I added the original Westfalia equipment (in a reduced version due to sliding doors on both sides). - It is officially re-registered from a truck to a 5-seater. - I replaced the gearbox with the longest one and strengthened the engine, thanks to which the car accelerates to 130-140 km/h, so it drives comfortably on the highway with a cruising speed of about 120 km/h. - Aluminum replicas of BRM rims from those years with 15" tires. I also have a set of original steel wheels with 14" winter tires. - The new retro-style radio with CD and Bluetooth plays well together with the speaker box. - After 16 years of use, the first paint defects are already visible (protected with touch-ups), it will also be worth protecting the chassis and sills.
