1959' Warszawa 223

Hello, I have to part with the apple of my eye, namely the FSO Warszawa 223 with the M20 engine (double-valve) from 1959. I bought the car in 2016, in overall good condition. Warsaw was dismantled into parts, the first sheet metal was sandblasted (new sills, rear wheel arches), then it was painted a beautiful blood red (2018). In the meantime, the engine underwent a thorough overhaul, new pistons, rings, bearings, valves, guides, the head and the surface of the engine block were squared, and the shaft was ground. Due to my lack of time (work, children), the car was taken to several workshops trying their hand at putting the car together, and early on they claimed that they knew the subject and could handle it without any problems, and so it has remained at a visible stage to this day. Currently, the car starts without any problems, runs smoothly, revs up quickly, and presses the gas pedal to engage the clutch. In Warsaw, a new electrical installation was installed, new chrome (requires corrections), sprayed chrome bumpers (rear to be repaired), front BDB, new brakes (cylinders, shoes). The car comes with complete upholstery, newly upholstered seats, door panels, front and rear shelf. Warsaw has very nice tires. Visually, the car requires paint corrections. Warsaw is complete, I think 95%, I add a lot of additional parts to the car. The photos do not show everything that is included in the car. I hope that the car will end up in good hands and someone will finish my project that I have been struggling with for so many years.
