Seller's comments about 1973' Triumph Bonneville

1973 TR6R oil in frame model in lovely nice blue and white, i have owned it for ten years, during this time i have not used it or done anything to it other than spray it all with a wax to preserve its beautiful condition, looking at the receipts the bike was restored during the period 2008/ 2009 parts costing over £3800, electronic ignition and all invoices are in a file, the V5C record shows only 3 owners, when i bought the bike i started the engine before paying for it and again when i got it home on 20th october 2010, it sounded really good with no bad noises, i could not road test it no tax or insurance, its not been started since 2010, before i put it into storage i drained the fuel tank and sprayed oil in it so its still like new inside, carb was also drained, spark plugs removed and oil put into the cylinders so all will be good inside the cylinders, i have turned the engine over from time to time to keep it all free, if anyone shows interest in it i will fit a new battery and start it up, otherwise i will leave as it is with the protective wax on it keeping it in nice condition, on the down side it has some paint rubbed off the seat subframe, this has been caused when the seat rubs the tube when it is open and closed, it just needs hinges minor adjusting, i have a couple of pictures of it before it was waxed in 2010 and can send them if you are interested, finally this is a very nice bike with all new parts fitted and it will polish up as new. cash on collection. i would consider a part x for a two stroke bike in nice condition.
