1939' Daimler El24

This is an excellent example of Daimler's pre-war compact limousine. 3.3 litre straight six, pre-selector gearbox, and Daimler's own coachwork. I have owned the car for some years, and it was subject to a body off restoration in Germany during the 1970s (photos available). During my ownership I have improved the car, including a rebuild of the cylinder head, which is important on these cars (photos and bills available).

The car has been retrimmed in red leather ( a little darker than it looks in the photos) and has occasional seats and a smoker's hatch fitted. It would make an excellent and imposing wedding car. It has been thoroughly reliable in my ownership, and is easy and fun to drive. I shall be sorry to see it go but it is time to downsize my collection.
