GRAHAM MOTORS MADE AN AGREEMENT WITH HUPMOBILE TO BUILD THE BODIES FOR THE HUPMOBILE SKYLARK, IN RETURN, GRAHAM WOULD BE ALLOWED TO BUILD THEIR OWN VERSION OF THE CAR. THE BODIES FOR BOTH CARS WERE BUILT USING THE DIES PURCHASED FROM CORD THAT WERE USED TO MAKE THE CORD MODEL 810 / 812. FROM THE COWL BACK, BOTH THESE CARS ARE ESSENTIALLY THE BODY OF A CORD WINCHESTER. VISUALLY THE GRAHAM AND HUPMOBILE WERE IDENTICAL EXCEPT FOR SLIGHT VARIATIONS WITH THE GRILL. EACH COMPANY, HOWEVER, DID USE THEIR OWN ENGINES. THE GRAHAM USED A 217 INLINE 6 WITH THE OPTION OF A SUPERCHARGER WHILE THE HUPMOBILE USED A 245 INLINE 6. A TOTAL OF ONLY 1597 HOLLYWOODS WERE PRODUCED. THIS CAR HAS BEEN PART OF THE DEZER COLLECTION SINCE THE EARLY 80S AND RECEIVED A GROUND UP RESTORATION.
