1950' Jaguar Mk5 Mk V

Jagurar MK V was the cream of the crop. Introduced at London Motor Show 1948 next to Jaguar XK120. The public have favourited the styling of the new Jaguar, which was similar to previous model. Lots of innovative features: new chassis size 120”, new type of suspension with four wheel hydraulic break system. (Reduced braking distance by far). The style was reserved only for four-door sedan and incredible stylish Drop-head Coupe. The style of the car was a mixture of old and new. Traditional lines combined with new features like fenders and front head lights.

This model of Jaguar had str8 engine 2.5l or 3.5l. MK V 3.5 used a six cylinder engine 3486 cm3.

MK V turns out to be very popular model for Jaguar until production stopped in 1951. Within three years of production Jaguar made only 577 of Drop-head Coupe ( years of production 1949-1951).
