Verkäuferkommentare zu 1929' Rolls-Royce 20/25

This is a rare and unusual model – a soft bodied fixed head sedan – in good condition with a full history and interesting documented provenance.
The 20/25 was the most popular Rolls-Royce of the inter-war period. It is a relatively small Rolls-Royce endowed with great charm on account of its delicacy of control, its amazing flexibility in top gear and the silence of its performance on the road.
This low mileage 4 owner car was bodied in Edinburgh by John Croall & Sons who later purchased H J Mulliner & Co. The second and most well-known owner was Bill Anderson who purchased it from the original UK owner and shipped it to his Ponderosa Ranch (Bonanza TV Series) in the US where it was extensively restored and used as a wedding car. Electric indicators were fitted enabling modern motoring without frantic gesticulations. He later bought it to New Zealand as a ‘town car’ at Lake Taupo. It sat unused for a number of years before being purchased by a well-known New Zealand industrialist who subsequently sold it to the present owner. Having now travelled a genuine 96,670 miles it cruises quietly and effortlessly. A detailed history can be emailed together with copies of factory documents.
The car is complete in good condition - but not concours. It has an unusual vinyl fabric body. Apart from the clock, all instruments and controls operate as they should. The car starts, runs and drives well. Long distance runs have been undertaken without difficulty. The photos will provide further details.
This is a rare ‘crossover’ car manufactured as a 20/25 in 1929. The factory documents, ownership papers and the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club (GB) advised it is a 20/25.
It’s been a lovely car to own and only selling as it’s time to downsize the fleet and home. Sale will include a virtually new handbook and all copies of original documentation. It can be used as a lovely wedding car, the leading lady in a collection or refurbished to an unusual concours winning example of the world’s best marque.
Domiciled in New Zealand - will ship anywhere if required. Questions and viewing welcome, photographs available, and copies of documents can be emailed.
