Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1959' Austin-Healey Sprite Frog Eye Sprite
This is my beloved classic frogeyed sprite called 'fruity'. it was the first car I ever brought at the young age of 15. I helped restore this car as she needed a full nut and bolt restoration with my dad and brother. I have photographs of this car from when I first collected the car, photos of what she looked like after being at the shot blasters, new panels that where welded ( wings, inner and outer sills, foot well, boot floor, gear box tunnel, being primed, sprayed, carpets fitted, chrome being fitted and how she looks today. She has been exhibited at many local car shows, in the town and around Worcestershire. My reason to be selling my pride and joy is that now having 2 small children, we unfortunately can not all go out in her. She is speedwell blue, original steel bonnet( which is now very rare to find)she has been de-seamed as I was advised by my dad who used to have one, rust gets in, so got rid. She comes with black hood & frame, 2 sliding windows that get attached to the door, spare wheel, original drum brakes, 1098 engine, this car is totally rust free and a very genuine car. The seats have been re covered in navy leather with light blue piping. The original wheels have been powder coated silver and have the hub caps on all 4 wheels. I'm the only lady owner having had 9 other owners. (I have the original log book from when it was first sold at Raymond Way Motors, Kilburn, London in 1959 the car travelled around London, oxford to Martley and now to me in Worcester.)A folder full of receipts and old mots. Now she is tax and mot exempt. The car is being stored in my mums garage as I don't have a garage. The car has had a full service recently and is ready to drive away, brakes & clutch bled, oil/change and filters changed, new spark plugs, new points, new duel master cylinder. She runs lovely and has a cherry exhaust too. Very welcome to be viewed or any questions asked. I am looking for something close to this amount, she very much worth a look!! (The photo on Shelsley hill, behind my dads Healey Silverstone, a day I will treasure as later that year his car sold at Silverstone auctions making a world record! price! Come and view for your self!!!! Original log book and loads of photos! Having had many time wasters I am keen for her to get sol to someone who actually will enjoy driving her.
