Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1940' LaSalle Series 50

Cadillac Lasalle Series 50 Touring Sedan, 4 Suicide Doors. The car has only 51,610 Miles, believed to be original. VIN # 516266328- I have only driven car about 150 miles since I acquired the vehicle from Maine. The car was parked in a Museum for at least 20 years. - This is No. 501 of 10,390 total models produced in 1940. Exterior Tan Paint is good with only a few minor pit marks. Window glass is clear. Most Chrome is good. In about 1969 the Engine was replaced with a 1953 Cadillac 331 V8, producing 210 horsepower . Shifting is a Manual 3 speed - column standard synchomesh transmission. The list of repairs made is extensive. Recently the engine received new plugs, points, wires, coil, voltage regulator, and distributor cap. Radiator flushed with coolant. New belts and hoses, rebuilt starter and solenoid, rebuilt clutch, rebuilt carburetor, gas tank drained and sealed with a new fuel sending unit, new driveshaft and U-joints . The 6 volt battery was replaced with 8 volt and moved to the cars trunk. New drum brake linings, wheel bearings, king pins, and bushings. Front end rebuilt suspension and alignment. New Tan/Buckskin pleated seats and new black Carpet. Included is some rubber window weatherstriping and window felt. New Coker 3 1/2 inch wide whitewall tires.  Car cover is included. The car does need a few improvements including some chrome re-plating of door handles and side vents. Interior headliner needs replacement, dash needs repainting, and Heater reconditioning. Although I can't guarantee the car, it seems to be very driveable. Attached are various photos of vehicle taken recently. I have a detailed binder showing my cost basis and receipts along with Lasalle Shop manual and Body manual that are included.Located in Frankfort, Kentucky. Over two years time and $25,000 invested. REDUCED TO $18,000.
